Green Spaces

Field of Dreams' original design sought to embrace and highlight the area's natural setting. That's why nearly two-thirds of the neighborhood's property is green space that encompasses walking trails, a protected wetlands area, and a community lawn called the Ball Field.

Walking Trails

There are 1.25 miles of walking paths within Field of Dreams. Motorized vehicles and bikes are not allowed on the walking paths, although walkers and joggers are welcome. Pets are also allowed on the paths. The paths wind through the neighborhood's open spaces and border its protected wetlands. At several points, the paths also border the yards of residents. Because of this, walkers should be respectful by keeping noise and disruptive activity to a minimum. â€‹

Wetlands

A protected wetlands area is situated near the center of the neighborhood. This area is left in a completely natural state and is home to birds, deer and other wildlife. The best and safest way to enjoy the wetlands area is from the designated walking paths that border it. So as not to disturb wildlife and the wetlands' delicate ecosystem, residents are asked not to enter the area or to allow dogs to run off leash there.

Ball Field

The Ball Field is located just behind the mailbox area. Residents may use this area for recreation, picnicking, or simply enjoying nature.
